Will Russia attack Ukraine?

Concerns are growing of a possible war between Russia and Ukraine.

Kyiv and Moscow have been in dispute since 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea and backed separatists fighting government troops in eastern Ukraine.

There had been a relative stalemate in fighting but the situation is now on the brink of a major escalation.

Kyiv has expelled a Russian diplomat in response to a similar move by Moscow.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is beefing up his nation’s naval presence in the Black Sea.

The international community is alarmed.
