Venezuelan President Maduro’s political alliance claimed a sweeping victory on Monday in congressional elections.
Many say Venezuela’s legislative election was over before it even began. The opposition boycotted Sunday’s vote calling it a sham.
President Nicolas Maduro says he has regained the National Assembly, the last institution controlled by his opponent Juan Guaido.
Despite support from the United States and more than 50 nations, Guaido has failed to unseat Maduro.
So does he and Venezuela’s opposition movement have any legitimacy left?
