Trump snubs White House correspondents’ dinner for Michigan rally
It was to be the second White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in a row without the US president.
US President Donald Trump has avoided the annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD) for the second year running.
Until last year, the sitting president attended every event for more than three decades.
Instead, Trump held a campaign rally in Michigan.
